We loved the peaceful atmosphere, the attention to detail in the cottage and the beautiful scenery. The host was amazing and very helpful with assistance and providing all necessary information we needed. The staff are friendly and exceptional. Cleanliness. Friendly welcoming staff. Food excellent. Environment too good. We enjoyed 7.5 km hike/walk and your Zebra started walking with us and it stopped when we stopped. Followed us when we start again. It was amazing like it was our guardian and it came back to the hotel with us. It was amazing 👏

The views of the Drakensberg mountains were perfect. The tent was well equipped with everything you could need. The best feature is, of course, the hot tub. It took a while to heat up, but it really did end up getting very hot. Nothing beats a cold evening in the hot tub in the full moon.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! When I booked the place, I almost couldn't believe the price compared to other good accommodation options in the area. The facilities were fantastic, Sandra was an exceptional hostess, extremely welcoming with lots of little touches like milk in the fridge provided for. The location on the game reserve is exceptional, we were able to walk around freely and saw buck, zebra and giraffe. The only complaint I have is that we couldn't stay even longer, even though it was offered to us by Sandra if our hiking in the Drakensberg didn't go to plan! I really can't express enough how much of a great option this is.

It's a rustic yet well equipped place in the middle of nowhere approx. one hour from the Drakensberg area. Frugality, nature, peace. You'll love it. With a big outside kitchen, fire pit, comfortable chairs to enjoy the surroundings and beautiful sunrises. Perfect to meet other travelers. It gives a sense of community. We loved it and extended our stay for an additional night.

    Safe, secure and a great location- beautiful views of the mountains and lots of buck and zebra close by. Perfect family getaway location and also very handy the we could check out a little later and not had to rush in the morning (check out between 10&12) Got electric flooring which keeps you nice and warm and bathrooms are stunning- pack your bubble bath😀
