The hotel is great. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. There is a nice restaurant on the 9th floor (reservations are a must). Very nice breakfast/brunch canteen as well (open in the evening as well). There is a small drink/food shop as well. The view from the top of the hotel is gorgeous - make sure even if it is not pool season to go and take a look at Lion's head. Totally recommend. For Cape Town it is essential to have all these at hand without the need to walk out at evening. Area was okay but still Cape Town for me is not really a place for evening stroll. During the day - it is close to the beach and Beach road with a lot of people, bars, etc.

Nice, modern room. It was really clean and spacious. The breakfast was more then excellent. 10+ stars. Nice view from the breakfast terrace and a nice rooftop area with pool. Super friendly and attentive staff at the hotel.

My stay at Urban Elephant was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable, and the views from the apartment were simply breathtaking, with a 360-degree panorama of Cape Town, the sea, and Table Mountain. The apartment was well-equipped with everything you could need, and the building's security made me feel very safe. The staff were all fantastic and accommodating. I had such a wonderful experience that I am already planning to return with my family and book one of the penthouses. Highly recommended!My stay at Urban Elephant was absolutely perfect. Nice place with very comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. Excellent breakfast as well. The owners, Imke and Michael were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. Since we had an early flight to catch, they were up early to serve breakfast at 5:45 am. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

I liked everything, it was just perfect. In fact I ended up extending my stay and I would have stayed longer but there was no availability. The place is quiet and located in a nice and safe neighborhood. The room is pristine clean and nicely decorated, The bed was comfortable, equipped with electric blankets to keep you warm. There is a little fridge a kettle and tea and coffee that are constantly replaced if you need them. the tv has Netflix and the wifi is super fast. They would leave delicious muffins and fresh fruit almost everyday in my room. Such a kind gesture. They even kept my luggage in a safe place for many hours until I was ready to collect it. I will never forget the hospitality, reliability and kindness of the owners and all the staff of the Strandloper room!

My wife and I had the best time at Neighbourgood. The room we booked was amazing. Very spacious, cozy, and comfortable. We had room for both our luggage (2 big, 2 cabin ones) and still had a full table available. The room has a kitchen filled with supplies, making it easy to prepare breakfast or other meals. The bathroom and shower were also great, with a lot of space for storage of toiletries, great shower temperature and preassure. Everything was super clean. The team comes in for daily bed-making. We were very happy to have coffee pods replaced daily - there's a Nespresso machine with cream available. We were there for our honeymoon and received a complimentary kit for the occasion, which was very lovely and made our stay even more special. The hotel is well-located, making it easy to access most tourist destinations. Overall, for us, this was an 11/10 experience. To the staff who welcomed us and made this event so special: our most sincere thank you.

Beautiful old home that is not a well appointed boutique hotel in excellent surroundings. The staff were exceedingly helpful, thoughtful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast was perfect too.

    The apartment was spotless. It’s in a great location, a block away from the Long Street, nearby the Green Market and Bo Kaap. You can see the table mountain and Lion’s head from the bed/room. The apartment had all the basic amenities including first kit set and sanitary items. Books, magazines and puzzles for leisure activities were also available.
