when we arrived it was night time so we really didn’t appreciate the outside until the next day. However, we didn’t realise we had such a big accommodation. So much room and so much history in this beautiful house. We had a four poster bed! It’s very much furnished in the Cape Dutch style of the 1800s and quite breathtaking! Downton Abbey in the Cape! This is self catering and everything you need is here for a comfortable stay. ours was three nights but would have loved a week here. The garden surrounding the house is so beautiful - an amazing sight to wake up to. There are outside cooking facilities as well as inside and we made use of both. Sadly our age stopped us from exploring the hiking trails but highly recommended, either walk or bike.

    Great location, beautiful and stylish deluxe cabin. Got all you need and more, the jacozi is a winner, we fully enjoyed our time. It's a must go to place indeed, hidden gem for sure.
