Where dreams come true: We were spoiled for comfort, attention, care in these magnificent surroundings! The building is intriguingly designed, one feels like on a ship in the dunes. In the evening, spectacular sunset views await. At night, it's a perfect location for star gazing. With any weather, the views on the sea and mountains are spectacular! The central fire place makes the mornings and evenings comfy and cozy. The food is all freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The host family are the warmest and gentlest we've ever met. "Be at home", they said. We were.

The location was good on the edge of Stanford close to shops and within an easy drive to Hermanus. The garden is large and secluded with 3 patios. The house is well equipped with a log burning stove to provide comfort and warmth.

    It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.
