As someone with a mold allergy, I’m hyper-aware of cleanliness and air quality, and this is one of the very few places in Cartagena I can safely stay. The space is spotless, smells fresh without overwhelming fragrances, and is clearly maintained with great care. The rooms are beautifully designed with super comfortable beds, blackout shades (a must when the sun rises before 6am!), and well-functioning air conditioning. It was so quiet and restful, and I woke up refreshed every single day. There’s also a charming little terrace with a view of the old fort and a lovely breeze, perfect for relaxing. And there’s a small pool, too! The lobby area is inviting with tables and chairs if you want to work, and the overall energy of the place is calm and peaceful. The location is ideal: just outside the busy old colonial center, so it’s quiet and safe, yet you can easily grab a taxi and be in the old town in minutes. I honestly felt so well taken care of here. I’ll absolutely stay again and recommend Casa Gracia to anyone looking for a clean, serene and welcoming home base in Cartagena.
