The spacious rooms and suites at the Hotel Deutsches Haus include wooden furniture and some antiques. What a fab hotel! The outside and the interior of the hotel is wonderful- some fab historical features with a modern touch. Our room was lovely and right at the front of the hotel with a view of the church and surrounding buildings. When we arrived the guy on reception parked our car in the hotels secure garage area, and took us up to our room and explained how we had to order breakfast on the tablet in the room, which was a good feature. Breakfast in the morning was good too. Also when we checked out we realised once we had driven round the corner that we had left our passports in the safe - utter panic of course! But the lady on reception was very understanding and gladly gave me access to our room again to retrieve said passports! A great hotel in the heart of Dinkelsbuhl

The Klosterstüble is an ideal base for exploring Rothenburg’s Old Town, with St James’ s Church only 300 metres away. The River Tauber is 600 metres from the hotel. This was probably our favourite hotel for our entire stay in Bavaria. It's a very old building that has been beautifully converted into a hotel. We stayed in the family room and it was beautifully designed to create private spaces. Parking was easy, we parked on the street directly outside the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening - it was very nice and was traditional Bavarian cuisine. The location is perfect for exploring the old town. I would definitely stay here again.

All rooms at the Hotel Sonne are spacious and traditionally furnished. Some rooms have a view over Rothenburg’s historic rooftops Location was absolutely perfect, only 1 block from the main plaza. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was great, with extras like a fan, hair dryer, extra towels, good storage space, and plugs on each side of all beds. The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast buffet was the best that we have had in Germany! We will return!
