Pension am Nationalpark is an ideal base for cycling along the Elbe cycle traill, hiking on the Malerweg trail or else exploring the nearby cultural highlights of Dresden, Pillnitz or Meißen. The location is about 20 minutes from the ferry/S Bahn. The room is very clean, cozy and welcoming, with the forest in the back. It has a lovely garden. Key pick-up process is easy, and the breakfast is amazing with so many choice of marmalades. The staff are all friendly. I find the shower very comfortable. Definitely worth the money and want to visit again!

I arrived late at night with my family and was able to call the staff and get immediate help to enter the bed and breakfast. I'm sure I had the appropriate credentials to enter but did not check my emails correctly. Many thanks for the exceptional service at that late hour. Our family woke up to a beautiful view of the Elbe river and then walked a couple hundred meters to the tram stop and entered Dresden. I also took a run across the bridge and viewed the city during the sunset. It's a great location to be out of the busy city but so close at the same time. The local restaurant is also open late for service (food and drink) - very helpful as well.
