Martin and his family are amazing and my only regret is we did not get to spend more time with them (too busy enjoying the island). The beds are very comfortable, great shower and hot water, the air conditioning works great, and very spacious room. A very nice yard to relax in. It’s a few blocks off the Main Street and about 10 minutes to the waterfront. Very quite yet close to everything. If we come back to the island, we will stay then again!

Location is excellent - quiet yet close to everything - and the staff were lovely and welcoming! We were able to check-in a bit early, and enjoyed the comfortable bed and awesome air-conditioning. Wifi was strong and reliable in our room, and having a small kitchenette was handy on days we wanted to save a bit of money.

The property has garden and city views. The holiday home features family rooms. Mercedes is a wonderful host, so responsive and kind. We loved our stay in finch house. Close to restaurants and 5 minutes walk from the Malecon. The rooms are very spacious and aircon and shower are great. Would highly recommend staying here in Santa Cruz

Located in Puerto Ayora, 700 metres from Los Alemanes Beach and 1.3 km from La Estacion Beach, Posada del Mar provides garden views and free WiFi. It is situated 2.9 km from De Los Perros Beach and features luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff! We stayed at the Ikala before and moved here for the last two days. We liked this place better and the price was a fourth of the price of the Ikala Hotel. Highly recommend it!

1.2 km from La Estacion Beach in Puerto Ayora, La Fortaleza De Haro features accommodation with access to a hot tub and public bath. With an outdoor swimming pool, the 3-star bed and breakfast has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The bed and breakfast has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. This unique location — a fortress — offered superb accommodation for my tour group. The Tower room offered excellent opportunities for morning birdwatching; all rooms were clean; staff were very friendly and helpful with offers of maps, local sights, and opportunity for local activity bookings; breakfast was served fresh and promptly each morning; and the location is in a quieter and secure neighbourhood (El Eden). This was by far the favourite accommodation among tour guests compared with two other similarly priced locations in Galapagos (Santa Cruz and Isabela). I cannot say enough good things about La Fortaleza and look forward to returning with more guests in the future. A big thanks to hosts Gianna and Roberto!
