The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Ideal location within Clovelly, next to the tea rooms. Wonderful view of the harbour and equidistant from most attractions (located quite centrally on the cobbled road). A hearty breakfast is included and the owner also provides a taxi service for those walking the coastal path and can collect from Hartland Quay, Morwenstow, Bude, etc.

Bull Point Lighthouse is 28 km from the homestay and Ashbury Golf Club is 50 km away. New, comfortable, quiet, very clean, large spacious room, excellent shower. A lovely countryside view. My wife is a light sleeper and had the best sleeps so far of our UK trip.

It is located 14 km from Powderham Castle and provides a shared kitchen. Tiverton Castle is 23 km away and Castle Drogo is 27 km from the guest house. Fantastic location - pleasantly situated opposite a park, but within walking distance of town centre and all amenities. Also, I was able to wash and dry my clothes.

We had a large room in the newly completed 'stable' wing, fitted out to a very high standard. The breakfasts were amazing, especially the Overnight Oats with fruit compote. We didn't need any lunch after our Ley Arms breakfasts!
