It felt generous, like every detail was designed to give guests more than they expect. Whether you’re traveling with a group or just want extra room to relax, it’s exactly what you’d hope for. The breakfast? Absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of variety—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. It was the kind of meal you look forward to every morning. Everything we needed was included, and the staff made the whole experience feel effortless. The location was also spot-on—central, convenient, and surrounded by the character and charm of Edinburgh. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was an experience we’ll remember. I’d go back in a second.

All apartments feature a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven, coffee machine and microwave. There is a bathroom in each apartment, equipped with free toiletries and a shower. A lounge area is available, and a TV is provided in the bedroom. Towels and bed linen are available. Exceptionally clean, no noise from other residents, very spacious. Luggage store was great.

Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre, Malt House Apartments are only 2 minutes’ walk to the west end of Princes Street. The modern apartments have been converted from a whisky-bond building and come fully equipped with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Very easy to find and a very convenient location. Luggage storage was perfect, as we got there a bit early. The apartment was well-apportioned and had everything we needed. The only thing missing, but certainly not a deal breaker, was a hair dryer.
