The space is extremely conducive to relaxation and gentle socialising. The wifi doesn't really work, but I think that's what makes this place special (if you really need wifi you can ask or kayak to a nearby restaurant - which also has great cerviche). Lots of time spent doing yoga, swimming, sitting in hammocks, playing cards and eating as a family. The staff are incredible (thanks Tim) and the vegetarian food served is amazing with large portions. Definitely recommend getting the massage too. I can't wait to come back

A recently renovated campground located in Miramar, Coco Bamboo Beach Camp features a garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The Camp is located at a wonderful small beach, surrounded by palm trees and mangrove forest. The whole small camp is designed were nicely and made with a lot of love. It has a very nice chill/kitchen area with a large table to get together with the other guests and volunteers. We could join the family dinner and breakfast for some extra money, which was very tasty. We did rent kayaks and went to the mangrove forest. The host Laurence helped a lot in preparing the trip and gave us a lot of information to arrive to the camp and go to Livingston. She was very helpful and kind as the other guest were. I would recommend to stay at least three nights, but a few days longer would probably be even better.

The hotel has a hot tub and room service. When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Wonderful hotel right on the waterfront with a view of the castle. The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Enrique is the best. The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and organising tours for guests. It was in walking distance of the ferry but off the road so you didn't hear the traffic. The host was lovely and we very much enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
