The hotel also contributed to sustainable travelling and supported local communities by hiring local people which we can only support.

All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and organising tours for guests. Probably the nicest place of the whole town. There was such a beautiful Family vibe at the Breakfast table. Flor, the Person in Charge is super nice and helps you with tips and information.

At the hotel, the rooms have a patio with a river view. Free WiFi is accessible to all guests, while some rooms are fitted with a terrace. There is this tropic vibe, surprisely not that much mosquitos, strawberry margherita - really good. Very friendly and kind staff, we had some family issues, and I was attend by 2 different members of staff and offered help, even that it wasn't their business. So kind of them, fortunately problem resolved without further actions.
