The place is really nice, despite being at a 10-minute walk from downtown it is very quite. Cleanliness is good, and Riko and Vanda are very welcoming. I had an exceptional tour with Riko who showed me some gorgeous places and commented them with his heart. Also the local breakfasts where excelent and each day different.

Set on the beachfront, this property features a bar. Mount Lokon is 27 km away and Christ Blessing is 8.6 km from the homestay. Three Ken was a really nice surprise. It is located at the prime location in Bunaken, first row. The two rooms are next to each other above the restaurant. The family is a super friendly, they get you everything organized. But the best is really the food, prepared by Mama Inge; really well cooked food with veggies, mostly fish - fresh tuna was the best - not this deep fried stuff… In the evenings the locals always played music, some tourists were joining - big fun! Full recommendation from our side (we stayed there 5 nights, extending our stay in Bunaken) had both rooms: one for my wife and me and one for our two kids.

New Family Homestay is a recently renovated homestay in Rinondoran, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The homestay features family rooms. Lovely place near the entrance of the Tangkoko national park. The room is big and comfortable. The staff is really nice and they will try to find the best options for you. A plus for the warung just next to the Homestay. I recommend them to anyone !

The perfect Homestay in so many ways!! Tomohon has many things to do and the host is SO sweet and kind. She has a list with so many ideas of what to do (hot springs, volcano, etc) and was helpful in every way. The balcony has a beautiful view and great birdwatching. The place is very very clean and although the bathroom is shared it was never a problem, we even had hot water for a shower. We both got amazing massages right at the Homestay, with tea and treats after. There is a great cafe (sleiv) and stunning lunch spot (gardenia) within walking distance. There are ducks, kittens and a disabled dog. The host respects your privacy but is also up for chatting any time - highly recommend !

All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. We had a fantastic stay at Birding Lodge Tangkoko, right on the edge of Tangkoko National Park. The lodge is owned and run by a local family, and they made us feel completely at home. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The Indonesian food was delicious, fresh, and a real highlight after long days out in the forest. The wildlife guides were outstanding. They know the forest inside and out. We did full-day bird tours and were able to see so many of Tangkoko’s incredible endemic birds and mammals. The guides helped us capture great views of hornbills, dwarf kingfishers, tarsiers, bear cuscus and macaques, and many other species. The accommodation was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a welcome relief after a hot day of birding and exploring. If your goal is to experience the wildlife of Tangkoko—whether general wildlife tours or full-day birding trips—we highly recommend Birding Lodge Tangkoko and Ardy’s team of guides.

Perfect little getaway house. Lovely pond outside. I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!
