The balcony views are gorgeous, perfect setting for your morning coffee. The dinners were delicious and breakfast is great, especially the owner's home baked sour dough bread.. we also thoroughly enjoyed the company of the resident cats and dog. The place is really nice, despite being at a 10-minute walk from downtown it is very quite. Cleanliness is good, and Riko and Vanda are very welcoming. I had an exceptional tour with Riko who showed me some gorgeous places and commented them with his heart. Also the local breakfasts where excelent and each day different.

I saw sea snakes, turtles, many fish Dive/ snorkeling trips - not a diver but new freediver, I felt very safe in the ocean, saw many many turtles, sharks, sea life. 12 euros for the trip if you bring you your own snorkel mask & fins, otherwise it’s possible to rent for extra. If you’re not a confident snorkeller be mindful that the guide goes with the divers so you will most likely need to stay near the boat. However high probability you’ll still see turtles & nice fish, corals etc. I had issues with my ears & needed to leave early & although I had already booked an extra night I was not charged which was very kind!! I’ll be back again for sure! Super comfortable, beautiful spot

Located within less than 1 km of Pangalisang Beach and a 14-minute walk of Manado Harbor, Three Ken Homestay & Cafe offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Manado. Set on the beachfront, this property features a bar. Mount Lokon is 27 km away and Christ Blessing is 8.6 km from the homestay. The family of the homestay are lovely and treat you like part of the family straight away. The food was excellent and plentiful. Not only did they cater to vegetarian and vegan diets easily, the food was delicious and a highlight of our stay. For the room, it was small but adequate with a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress. The bathroom was nice with a good pressure cool shower and flushing toilet. Aircon worked great.and was a nice treat. Ken's homestay was the place to be in the evening with live music being played by various talents from across the village. It's a fun and friendly vibe. Some nights are more lively than others which was a nice mix for us. If you are a light sleeper or go to bed early bring earplugs and it is fine. The mornings are nice and quiet and you can wake up to the sound of the waves. You can't even hear the church or the mosque! We went on two snorkelling tours and both were great ways to see other amazing snorkelling spots and we even visited the village on Manado Tua. Good value too. We extended our stay by two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Terima kasih banyak!

New Family Homestay is a recently renovated homestay in Rinondoran, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The homestay features family rooms. Lovely place near the entrance of the Tangkoko national park. The room is big and comfortable. The staff is really nice and they will try to find the best options for you. A plus for the warung just next to the Homestay. I recommend them to anyone !

The perfect Homestay in so many ways!! Tomohon has many things to do and the host is SO sweet and kind. She has a list with so many ideas of what to do (hot springs, volcano, etc) and was helpful in every way. The balcony has a beautiful view and great birdwatching. The place is very very clean and although the bathroom is shared it was never a problem, we even had hot water for a shower. We both got amazing massages right at the Homestay, with tea and treats after. There is a great cafe (sleiv) and stunning lunch spot (gardenia) within walking distance. There are ducks, kittens and a disabled dog. The host respects your privacy but is also up for chatting any time - highly recommend !

All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. We had a fantastic stay at Birding Lodge Tangkoko, right on the edge of Tangkoko National Park. The lodge is owned and run by a local family, and they made us feel completely at home. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The Indonesian food was delicious, fresh, and a real highlight after long days out in the forest. The wildlife guides were outstanding. They know the forest inside and out. We did full-day bird tours and were able to see so many of Tangkoko’s incredible endemic birds and mammals. The guides helped us capture great views of hornbills, dwarf kingfishers, tarsiers, bear cuscus and macaques, and many other species. The accommodation was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a welcome relief after a hot day of birding and exploring. If your goal is to experience the wildlife of Tangkoko—whether general wildlife tours or full-day birding trips—we highly recommend Birding Lodge Tangkoko and Ardy’s team of guides.

Perfect little getaway house. Lovely pond outside. I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!
