Very clean and cozy place, lovely staff, nice breakfast and perfect location just outside the city centre. All that we needed and more.

All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

Guests have spacious rooms and a stylish restaurant, 1 hours’ drive from Dublin. Superb hotel. Staff, facilities, location. The room was brilliant. Would recommend the hotel Everytime.

The location of Leenane Hotel makes it an excellent base for exploring Connemara. The facilities include a bar, a spacious restaurant and a private resident’s lounge. We had a great stay at Leenane Hotel. It's a very well maintained place with great rooms, excellent food and friendly staff. It's also dog friendly which is a rare thing in the area. What really stood out as well - the price we paid was more than fair.

The property is around 22 km from Westport Train Station, 23 km from Ballycroy National Park and 25 km from Clew Bay Heritage Centre. Martin Sheridan Monument is 45 km away and Foxford Woolen Mills Visitor Centre is 45 km from the bed and breakfast. Michael was such a host! So friendly and welcoming. The house was extremely clean, so organized and with everything you needed. Breakfast was perfect, with wide variety and you could cook your own irish breakfast if wanted!! 100% recommended, will be back for next time in the area!! Thanks again, Michael!
