The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

The hotel combines a cosy, traditional atmosphere with excellent standards. Rooms and common areas are clean, the restaurant is outstanding, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Boasting a housekeeping service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Guests can access the homestay via private entrance. Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

The apartment was spacious for a group of four adults. It is located right in the centre of Clifden, close to pubs, shops and a supermarket, yet it was very quiet. The view of the river from the lounge window was superb. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The amenities within the apartment allowed us to cater well for ourselves ( washing machine, dryer, kitchen). The decor was modern and appealing. Overall, it was an excellent place that I would return to.

Cozy and comfortable kitchen next to the room with EVERYTHING you might need to go to the Lidl 5 minutes away and prepare some dinner or for breakfast included. 2x2 bed, large television screen in the room, tourist brochures about the area, books... all perfect and taken care of down to the detail.

Our stay at Connemara Haven was absolutely perfect. Christian is true proffesional with a very warm approach. The accomodation was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Quiet, peaceful location with a lovely view. I can never make fried eggs like Christian :). We ´d love to return for sure.

This is where I'm staying in Clifton from now on. Cozy and a lovely continental breakfast. I'm vegan and appreciated the vegan options. We were there for clifton art festival and there was an art gallery of local artists in the hotel. that was especially nice. class vintage shops around the corner too.

The room was spacious and very nice furnished, comfortable bed. We got a perfect Irish breakfast and pancakes. Our host was welcoming and helpful.
