The property is non-smoking and is situated 20 km from Blue Lagoon. We have had nothing but very good accommodation throughout our stay in Iceland and this was one of the best. It's in the original house, very nice surroundings, perfect for a night before a plane trip and a shame we didn't have an extra day or two to explore the area. The whole apartment is very cosy and sensitively decorated and probably one of the few where there is also a large TV, great for a final relaxation.

Extremely accommodating host who lives on the property with facts who is there to give advice and recommendations. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Iceland. The double bed is elevated about 3 feet off the floor which was mildly challenging for 2 75 year olds.

It was clean, comfortable beds and temperature, spacious, had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen with some food leftovers, communication with the owners was good and easy, easy check in and check out, close to dinner options and close to the airport although still an expensive taxi ride as seems to be the case in Iceland. Recommended.
