It’s Front Office is very picturesque, with mountains of Kumamoto as backdrop. FO staff has good command of the english language, making communication less difficult. They are not shy to greet guests passing to and fro. Upon inquiry, staff recommended “Liebe” as “steak place,” and we had a blast! Steak was very good and not expensive, allowing us to bring our own wine upon payment of minimal corkage…bravo! The hotel is very secured with a big main door that requires guests’ keycards to open it and an elevator that automatically sets guests to their respective floors. Rooms have separate toilet and bath, well-provided with amenities/toiletries and it is possible to open the window to let Kumamoto’s cool winter breeze (brrrrr🥶) in. There are english-speaking channels available and coffee at the lounge is free-flowing.

My stay in Ryokan Yamanami is excellent. The staffs are all nice and approachable. The foods are all delicious and it’s all different in my 3 night’s stay. My room Is very spacious and I love the private onsen. Location is walkable from the station. And it’s a good exercise to walked from Ryokan to lake Kirinko. I will definitely be back next time. 😊

Takeo Onsen is such a charming town, and Yujiro (and his family) made my stay there even more fantastic. Yujiro, the owner, contacted me even before my stay with amazing recommendations such as restaurants and attractions in Takeo Onsen area. He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

It is located 100 metres from Tsunashiki Temman-gu Shrine and offers full-day security. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and a lift for guests. The unit was very spacious especially since we are only 3pax but can accomodate up to 6 pax. The unit was equip with the basic needs. The big living room was a very nice touch in which you can lounge. And since the unit is bigger than normal space in Japan, you can freely open your luggage. It was a great stay. Would defenitely recommend.

I can see from details they do it with heart and treat guests with respect. They offer help effectively. Totally enjoy the lounge at 18th floor too! The snack and drinks are nice.
