The ryokan has family rooms. The ryokan was by far one of the high points of our trip. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, explaining everything in nearly perfect english. The ryokan also has a private bath that I was able to experience with my wife. The location is beautiful and calm, and I recommend waking up early and climbing the stairs to temple.

Everything is being thought of. Lots of amenities and we like the free drinks and snacks. The location is close to Nara station. The bath tub is the showstopper and so big! We stayed on a Tuesday so it’s pity that we could not go to the restaurant as I heard many good things.

It is a ten minute walk to the Miminashi train station for the Kintetsu Line. The owners are warm and very welcoming, multilingual, and knowledgeable about places of interest nearby. We stayed six days and felt very much at home in a beautiful area of Japan.
