You can also rent bikes to go around the island and explore. His mom cooked delicious breakfast and dinner for us, and it was the best food we've had 😊 I highly recommend Tommy's place because you can really feel the love he has put to build it. Location was perfect, 50mts from the bus stop, in a quite area in front of a gorgeous park and a very short walk or bike ride from restaurants and the city centre and fort. Tony and his partner were super helpful with any matter or question I had. They helped me arrange a bicycle to go around town, a tuktuk tour of the northern side of the peninsula, and find good dining spots. Breakfast was good, based on local foods - they even made it take away on my last day as I had an early bus. I had a private bathroom, which was perfectly clean and the shower was great. Although my room was in the ground floor, I never had any issues with noise coming from common areas.

The staff and caretakers looked after me like I was family - particularly Robina and Spelwin. The breakfast was authentic, delicious and served with love. Staff were very accommodative of my needs and ensured to check in with me regularly. Facilities were clean and my room exceeded my expectation. Will definitely stay here next time.

If your looking at exploring the Jaffna peninsula, I would highly recommend staying here.
