This riad in Meknes was a hidden gem! Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and perfectly clean. But the real highlight was the breakfast—freshly made, varied, and served like royalty in a peaceful rooftop. The staff was attentive and kind, always ready to help. It was a short walk from the city’s main attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring Meknes. Would absolutely return!

Our plan was to visit Volubilis and Moulay Idriss from Meknes and it was a very last minute decision to stay overnight in this city. Although we booked very last minute, upon arrival we were kindly welcomed and the staff helped us arrange a private driver to visit Volubilis and Moulay Idriss immediately. They were also very kind to accommodate to our early morning departure and made breakfast for us. Very much appreciate their hospitality!

It was a great pleasure to be hosted in this Riad from Ghizlane. She gave us an overview of Moroccan culture, starting from the Riad itself. The Riad is located in a strategic position and is super silent. Breakfast is fresh and homemade, we loved it. I totally recommend to stay here if you're looking to stay in a place which gives good vibes and to get to know a person like Ghizlane who loves what she does. Last but not the least, ask the host to dine there.

Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. A balcony or patio are featured in certain rooms. The air-conditioned rooms are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. We had a wonderful time at Riad Yamcha. The riad is beautifully furnished. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful roof terrace. The location is perfect for exploring Meknes. Unfortunately, most of the sights were being renovated at the time of our stay (May 2024). If we had known this, we would probably have skipped Meknes. The riad was still a highlight. We also had dinner in the riad at a large table with the other guests - we can highly recommend the food here. If we travel to Meknes again, we will gladly book here again.

Fès Airport is an hour’s drive away and low-cost parking is available nearby. Exceptionally preserved riad with an rooftop terrace with amazing views. It is located at walking distance of all tourists sites in Meknes. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The optional vegetarian diner we ordered was very memorable.

Guests can also enjoy the garden and the outside terrace in the annex at Les Jardins de Ryad Bahia with a free shuttle service. This was our favorite Riad in Morocco! Beautiful and authentic it was like a mini museum with amazing architecture, handicrafts, photos and books! Our room was exceptional and well appointed. The rooftop decks had amazing plants everywhere. The owner spoke excellent English and she was so helpful in setting up a taxi for us. We were bummed we couldn't stay longer. We also really liked Meknes.
