We booked last minute as our other accommodation fell through not expecting much. The hosts went above and beyond for our group, and I'm soooooooo thankful for their kindness. In short, in any of the latter 3 countries I would have had to pay 5 to 6 times more than I did in Lilongwe, if i wanted to enjoy service, space, comfort and peace remotely equivalent to the Burley House experience. Apart from enjoying a comfortable room with good WiFi, international TV (we watched the IPL and ATP tennis), wonderful meals and an incredible garden, what stands out at Burley House is the incredible warmth of the staff. This is not surprising as it is, after all, Malawi.
