It is not possible to wash the dishes yourself, but the owner found a very interesting solution to this problem. We put the dishes in a plastic box, and the owner washed them during the day in the dishwasher, and later in the evening we picked up the clean dishes. Larvik is a beautiful city and the area around it is full of nature, so if you love and appreciate hiking, this is the perfect place.

We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

We could even charge our electric car directly at the cabin. When we tried this the first time, the wallbox didn't work but that was fixed by our friendly host already on the next day!
