Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of both local and international options, all beautifully presented and delicious. The location is also very convenient, close to the airport and with easy access to various attractions around Muscat. I would definitely stay here again. A top choice for anyone looking for quality, comfort, and great service in Muscat.

The beach was lovely and the scenery was breath taking The staff were extremely helpful and the resort has all the facilities such as amazing restaurants, market and a decent pharmacy all within the premises and when i needed to go to the pharmacy they got a free taxi for me even though pharmacy was less than 5 minutes away from the main resort which was really thoughtful of them

I had a great time during my 3 days stay at Fort Guesthouse, its located in old town Mutrah and its a 7 min. walk to the souq and restaurants. The owner is friendly and the caretakers Mubarak and Nihara are so kind and helpfull and took great care of me while I was there. Would stay there again if coming back to Muscat.

The rooms (16 of them in total) are quite small, but very comfortable and adequate with all the most important provisions. The manager, Shihad, runs an excellent business and is sensitive to the issues that are involved in running a hotel close to a small local village and in an environment of outstanding beauty - but this is his home so he is very caring. I strongly recommend a night here and in the cooler months you could also spend a couple of days here if you just wanted to "chill".
