The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

It was an easy walk across the river to Ice Hotel and Sami Museum as the lake was frozen and the weather was good in the afternoon during our stay. The host is very friendly and helpful.
