I loved everything about this place, especially their tea farm. We also got to walk around the farm, which had such an incredible view. The room is also very spacious. The breakfast was also good. You should book your Alishan stay here. If you want to go up to Alishan Recreation Forest Area, you still need to take the bus for about 50 minutes though.

With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. The property offers allergy-free units and is set 33 km from Wufeng Park. Sunrise Yunqi Teahouse had such amazing views. When we arrived, the first thing we did was taking photos at the front of the hotel, instead of checking in 😂. The owner was super lovely and patiently waited for us to finish. The place was huge and clean, so was our room. The whole place was nicely decorated, with poems displayed everywhere - you can tell they put a lot of heart into this place that’s more than a hotel, but rather a show of their love of love and respect for the guests. I also highly recommend booking dinner/breakfast with them - they again put so much heart into serving us with the best possible experience. This guesthouse is such a gem and a great find on our Taiwan trip!

天隆民宿Tian Long Tea Farm HomeStay is situated in Le-yeh, 27 km from Alishan Forest Railway, 29 km from Wufeng Park, and 32 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall. This homestay features free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. The vancinity around Shizhao has become my favorite part of Taiwan. Strategically its a great pivot points between Alishan and Fengqihu (separate day trips), and personally, Shizhao has became the better experience within its own right. Our host Mr. Xue drove us to see fireflies nearby at night. He also drove us to nearby attractions to make the most of our day. He was also so kind to explain tea harvesting and brewing process while we enjoyed the tea he brewed. Our room was huge, equipped with its own tea set. Waking up and starting each day amongst a tea field is a real treat and the aroma of tea permeates though the town. There are great looped trails nearby transecting through multiple tea farms and bamboo forests, look for the Shizhao trail systems, some of my favorite includes the mist, cloud, and sunset trail.
