We added the teahouse on Line and they told us they would pick us up at the bus stop, so we didn't have to walk up the mountain at all. We were allowed to explore the tea plantation by ourselves. In the factory, the owner shared different teas with us and explained a lot about the different kinds, so we were able to ask any questions. Their tea was also provided inside the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic with a gorgeous view in the morning, and afterwards the owner's daughter held a tea ceremony, trying three different kinds of teas. One of the most special experiences we have had our entire trip. The daughter also speaks English quite well. The family's sun was also able to give us and two other guests a ride back to the bus station. We had a fantastic and very special experience and would come back any time if we could. It was worth every cent.

There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

I loved everything about this place, especially their tea farm. We also got to walk around the farm, which had such an incredible view. The room is also very spacious. The breakfast was also good. You should book your Alishan stay here. If you want to go up to Alishan Recreation Forest Area, you still need to take the bus for about 50 minutes though.

When we arrived, the first thing we did was taking photos at the front of the hotel, instead of checking in 😂. The owner was super lovely and patiently waited for us to finish. The place was huge and clean, so was our room. The whole place was nicely decorated, with poems displayed everywhere - you can tell they put a lot of heart into this place that’s more than a hotel, but rather a show of their love of love and respect for the guests. I also highly recommend booking dinner/breakfast with them - they again put so much heart into serving us with the best possible experience. This guesthouse is such a gem and a great find on our Taiwan trip!
