No interaction was needed with anyone during check-in and out as they had a very efficient digital system in place but you can tell the owners have put a lot of heart and soul into the building. The room was spacious and finished to a really high standard, including the bathroom. We had the room at the end so had a beautiful view out onto Mt Shasta. Great café under the hotel is also worth a visit for some pastries before heading out to explore. They also had some good suggestions for food. We went to Yak Shack which was just in the process of being rebranded to Drizzle and that is worth a visit if you like a burger!

Breakfast consisted of really good blueberry waffles with fresh fruit. Shasta Inn across the street is owned by the same people and we were able to charge our car there for free. Very friendly staff. The fireplace added the perfect touch of comfort, and the bathtub was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place strikes the perfect balance. I would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, I would have to say that we got full value for the cost of our short stay... The bed was very comfortable, and the heating was really 👌 🔥 good..I was taken aback by the spread that was laid out for breakfast. Cereal, yogurts, bagels and cream cheese..loads of hot coffee, Pastries..excellent choice.. Not aware of any road noise whatsoever.. Would definitely stay here again if in the area .
