Central Backpackers Hostel - Phong Nha has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Phong Nha. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a 24-hour front desk. Activities were organised every night so there was always something to do. The hostel got the balance between party and respecting quiet hours very well. I stayed in a private room so I slept well and the room was well equipped. The free bbq on a Sunday was a massive plus. Really enjoyed my stay here :)

It's a peaceful and beautiful location in the countryside just five minutes away from the city. The room was clean and there was hot water available. Huy is extremely friendly and will cook you breakfast free of charge whenever you wake up. He also even helped me change my bus ticket to another day after I had already left the homestay two days ago. He gives great recommendations and offers scooter rental which worked flawlessly. Overall a great stay and excellent value for your money.

Tu Tu was an outstanding host and helped us with everything during our stay. The place is newer and very clean. Hot water and good showers, comfortable bed and excellent communication before and during our stay. We appreciated this and recognized how hard she works as she did this level of service for everyone at both places she runs! The family dinners were so tasty and had vegetarian options and we enjoyed meeting the other travelers. The people on this area are so friendly and the caves were mind blowing. Thank you Tu Tu for a wonderful stay. Also the tour she recommended was great and the host was lovely. We enjoyed the bicycles to explore the rice fields and Quirky tourist spots.

I was there during one of vietnams typhoons. I was only planning on staying 1 night before heading off to danang by motorbike but after talking with the owner he advised me to wait a day until the storm was more quite. The owner is extremely nice and curteous , he took care of me while i was there and advised me the best route to take to reach danang to avoid flooded areas. I will stay here again next time i am back to vietnam
