From reservation to checkout, flowless. I have never experienced such a professional and friendly team in any villa. Thank you so much, Medusa team. The villa is perfect. I didn't expect such a clean and fully equipped kitchen. Also, there is a separate cupboard full of utensils and plates etc. The garden and outdoor tables and outdoor bed is perfect. The garden is well maintained, completely natural. There were lots of birds and squirrels etc. The pool is exceptional. The caretakers leave the villa after explaining everything, so 100% privacy. The sri lankan breakfast was amazing. Bathrooms were very clean and with hot water. Easy access from express way so just about an hour away from colombo.

I have stayed in many places during my visit to Sri Lanka, all in similar price range, and this place was one of the best. Very clean, AC working properly, specious room, comfortable bed, clean linen and very friendly owner. Quite far from the beach and town centre but it didn’t bother us as we had our own tuk tuk.

Outstanding and beautiful guest house with unbelievably helpful and friendly hosts! We loved every second of our stay at Barefoot Bungalo. The location is perfect…tucked away in the jungle overlooking a beautiful rice field marsh, but only 15 min walk to the huzzle and buzzle of Hikkaduwa and the beaches. The villa is beautifully designed with attention to detail and the rooms are super comfortable. We also very much enjoyed the pool overlooking the rice paddy. Our hosts, Saffina and Chuta went out of their way to make our stay super comfortable and enjoyable.

The villa is very spacious and beautiful, the beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed having breakfast outdoors watching monkeys hopping on trees. You need a bike or car to get to the beach, but it’s only 7 minutes away.
