We had an incredible stay in Mon Jam, nestled in the mountains north of Chiang Mai. It’s about 1 hour and 15 minutes by shared van, and the journey is well worth it. Our group of 5 adults booked 4 tents and one deluxe room with a king bed, and the whole experience was simply breathtaking. We were completely charmed by the view, the peaceful atmosphere, the simplicity, the silence, and the sense of serenity. It was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with ourselves, and share some truly memorable conversations. Each tent is equipped with a bed (a bit on the firm side), a kettle for coffee or tea, a private terrace with stunning views, and a bathroom setup that includes a toilet, outdoor shower, sink, and mirror. The tents face the mountains and the sunset, while the sunrise is behind the camp. At night, the wind picked up and made the tents flap quite a bit — it was noisy and made the tents move slightly, which might be surprising if you're not used to it. There are restaurants and cafés within walking distance, but if you don’t feel like walking in the hills at night, you can order food directly. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming — it was a real pleasure meeting her. In short: a unique and rejuvenating experience, full of peace and beauty. We left with special memories… and a strong desire to return.

This is an excellent value with an even better view! The staff is friendly and attentive. There are plenty of options for food and drinks nearby and the property's moo grata was fantastic. While there is room for improvement at this stay, I would highly recommend a visit. It's a lovely place.
