The location is beautiful on top of the Hill with a view over Lugano City centre as well as Lago di Lugano. There is a nice poolside and sun beds on the "backyard". The food at the restaurant was decwnt as we ate 1 time at The bistro and 4 times at The breakfast. The gym was also well equipped and there were lots of different exercise classes available. The staff was friendly but wasn't able to help us with our needs to The fullest.

Having a shower stall and sink in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was included with the stay. The room had a veranda with a view of the lake.

Excellent location in center at base of the funiculare, personable, attractive staff, helpful and accommodating, room basic but totally comfortable and adequate for me, breakfast good, hot shower good, wifi good -- for me, this place works great!
