The property is cosy with 5 very well maintained and clean tents. We took two tents and the children enjoyed their own tent and it’s very safe. The river is right outside the property and is crystal clear, we enjoyed it post the safari’s. The place is pet friendly so our dog enjoyed the river and made a pug friend, basically he had a blast. The property is quiet and relaxing. The staff were very humble and welcoming and kept us pampered with different dishes and service, it felt like going to your relatives home for a few days in a village where you get peace, clean air and are pampered. The road to the village is through a forest for 5km and we saw a deer’s while going and coming back from safari’s. The kids tried climbing trees and enjoyed the swings. It’s not an adventure outing apart from the river, things like game rooms, pool, zipline,etc. are not there and we didn’t miss them/ were rather for a safari, river and peaceful evenings with a drink and the sound of the river trip, which we got.

Pools of fantastic bird life and wildlife in night just for you. Veggie food is amazing, service outstanding. We were in a luxury tent which I think is their cheapest option and was great. Recommend fort visit with Bablu ( driver ) who also sorts out transfers for you if you've booked your own safaris via the ranthambore official site. Highly recommend zones 2 and 4 if you can get them. Don't just get hung up on tigers (we did see them), there's so much more out there ie storks, antelope, deer, turtles, mongoose, boar and the fab sloth bears. Mr. Narendra r personally makes sure that the guest are provided good service and is very accessible. We stayed in the tent, but they have brick and mortar rooms too. Being a tent, the bathrooms are basic, but it was clean. There are many other camp style resorts around that area, but barna camp stands out. The management went out of their way to promote local culture and folk music and dance. The folk music and dance performance were very good. We could hear modern disco music from other camp sites, but here, it was traditional stuff, which we appreciated. If you are a star gazer, the area near the swimming pool provides excellent viewing opportunities. The food was awesome. The activities around the camp are a lot of fun, especially the camel ride to the sand dunes. We enjoyed the stay
