Was relaxing as soon as we arrived , met by lovely wendy, who had the heating on ready for us, showed us around , was full of cosy throws and lamps and cosy fleecy bedding x lots of books and toys for my young daughter and stocked up with coffee, tea sugar and even milk in the fridge and some cute snacks x fridge with a small freezer, hairdryer, iron, hoover cleaning products! A small welcoming bar a couple of minutes away with a pool table , darts and juke box, childrens teddy machines and a fabulous roast dinner on a sunday to die for! Swimming pool outdoors although not open as winter! Darrel and sue were also available to help us with anything else we needed and all went out of their way to make our stay fantastic! We will be back soon! X

The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Very nice place. In the house everything you need. Clean. Best for access by car but the bus stop is also not very far. Good contact with the owners. WI-FI is available although the signal is not very strong. WI-FI range extender will solve the problem. Nice beach with a beautiful view of the cliff.

Carisbrooke Castle is 19 km from the campground, while Yarmouth Castle is 33 km away. Southampton Airport is 65 km from the property. Lovely and cosy spacious caravan, the kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. Caravan was very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend this place.

This campground also provides guests with a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in Lower Hyde Caravan very much. When we first entered the accommodation we had the feeling that it was very loved and there had been lots of happy memories made there. It was very prettily decorated, clean and there had obviously been some thought about what was bought. We soon realized the favourite colour of the owner....... As we arrived by train the location was perfect as the train station and Lidl was circa 5 minutes away on foot. We spent most days out walking and enjoyed eating our breakfast on the decking in the hot sun. The caravan did get hot during the day and rapidly cooled down in the evening becoming quite cold which is of course normal for a mobile home/ caravan. There was heating which we didn't use as we tucked up under a blanket and played the games we found in the accommodation. There were two bedrooms, two toilets and shower rooms, a kitchen with a gas stove and hob, and a lounge. The Internet and TV worked well. It was quiet as the caravan is not in the middle of other caravans or near the road and we liked the fact that there was a forest behind the cottage as this gave some privacy and plenty of bird song. We didn't meet Stella, the owner, but had written contact with her when she gave us the lockbox code and directions and we appreciated the fact she wrote to ask if everything was ok during our stay. We would certainly like to return.

This last minute trip was our first time in a caravan,the experience far surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect ,a brief walk to the beach and a short drive to the shops and restaurants on the island. The rosewood had everything you need, the settee and beds were comfortable and even though it was winter the caravan was warm and cosy.The owners had thought of everything and the double shower in the bathroom was an added bonus.
