Just 1 km from the Ottoman village of Dana and the start of the Wadi Dana Trail, the camp overlooks Wadi Dana and the Dana Nature Reserve.

The camp is owned by a group of local farmers and the local community cooperative (The Dana Cooperative). Profits go back to the local community. This is by far the best place we stayed at in Jordan. It is located outside of Dana Village, just a 20 min walk to town (and the dana trail) or 5 min drive. The place is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can share info and help arrange different hikes in the area, if needed. They also offer dinner in case you want to enjoy a proper meal, and it is delicious! The rooms feature an amazing view into the valley, which you can enjoy when you wake up. Comfy beds and a hot shower after the hike make for the perfect stay!

A good location for a stress-free stay in Dana, Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. The property features free bikes, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The campground provides mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The views are amazing ! Ask for one of the tents at the front of the canyon. We saw Arabian wolves ! We also greatly appreciated the endless tea and delicious dinners.

The area is popular for horse riding and cycling, and bike hire is available at the campground. The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. I liked the cosy rooms and clean shared bathroom, the garden with fruit trees and nice views, and the home-made Jordanian breakfast and dinner. The premises is also house to a flock of pigeons, ducks, a shy rabbit, an extremely friendly dog and a cat. My daughter loved playing with the animals and was quite upset when leaving the lodge. The lodge is in a secluded location, inaccessible by car (actually about a hundred meters down a trail starting from behind the local mosque)

Guests at the campground will be able to enjoy activities in and around Wadi Musa, like cycling. It was very remote and quiet. It was off season ( February) and we were the only guests. The staff was very friendly and the dinner and breakfast were terrific. It was cold but we were perfectly comfortable in the tent with blankets. The fire and tea in the communal tent just perfect.

The Bedouin Camp offers private tents with carpeted floors and wrought-iron beds. The camp has separate shower and toilet facilities for men and women, with hot water for showers.

Breakfast and Dinner is served in the Resaturant. In the evening guests can sit around the campfire and enjoy the glow of lanterns on the rocks in the desert moonlight, or drink tea in the traditional beit shaar tents.
