Over three nights here, I had a meal or drink with people from Holland and Hong Kong, Donggang and Taipei. Such welcoming staff, greeting everyone, answering my transportation questions. The manager planned a birthday sunrise outing to a beautiful sea cliff nearby! The common spaces have everything for a calm fun stay. This established old hostel has a renovated feel. You can find a cozy seat, hot coffee, or desk to work. My room had an ocean view, and my neighbor below had a balcony. The capsules are private and nice. You can reach The First from Hengchun or Zuoying via Kenting tourist shuttle bus 9189. And I departed on bus 9117B to Donggang. Both routes accept Easy Card. Nanwan is an ideal base for scuba diving with Houbihu DivePro 南青潛水. The dive guide picked me up at The First for NT$200. I enjoyed day trips to Sail Rock at sunset, Longpan Park for sunrise, Hengchun for the city wall and restaurants, and Eluanbi for its lighthouse, sea views, and amazing paths. The ATM at Seven Eleven accepted my international debit card. The weather in March is perfect for me.

We had a wonderful stay in Kenting. The accommodation is very convenient due to its location: only a few minutes walk from Kenting Night Market. The owner is also very friendly.

The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of the night market and litterly 10 meters from the Kenting Express stop, which is super convenient. The staff, even they don't speak much English, are very helpful and friendly, even the cleaners tried to have a little chat when meeting them in the corridors, which is really cute. They offer complimentary beverages and food throughout most of the day, which is amazing! The room was spacious and clean.

Location of the hotel is right at the end of the street market every night so very handy. Beach is just across the road. Ubike stand across the road also. Just download the app and use these to cycle the area. Cheap way to get to some local sites. Friendly staff on reception. Room size was good. Hairdryer in the room and TV. Tourist shuttle bus stops nearly outside hotel.

Top bunk capsule is spacious and has a high ceiling (unlike bottom bunk capsule which seemed like a coffin!). Light and plugs and even shelves. Decent shower. Quirky and rustic. Definitely not modern but this hostel has character. Great location on the Main Street. Owner is friendly.

Very cheap and good value for money. Even in the 10 bed dorm you get your own "cabin" so you have a lot more privacy than in other hostels. The owner speaks English very well, is kind and will help you with anything, e.g. you can rent a scooter in house which is very convenient. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are up to standard. You can use the washing machine for free!

We booked 3 rooms and got upgraded to sea view (海景). B&B owner - 高阿姨 and front desk lady were very friendly and helpful. Located just 10mins walk to 华侨市场, 5mins walk to ferry terminal and morning wet market. We made a day trip to 小琉球 and 阿姨 recommended us to a lady selling ferry tickets at discounted price. Overall stay was great and location was convenient with 全联 just a stone throw away. Will stay here again if I'm back to Donggang.
