The view was amazing from both the bed and the little living room. Absolutely beautiful, very clean with all possible amenities. Each apartment has its own parking + there are facilities for disabled people. The hosts are very polite and quite helpful in case you need anything for the apartment or if you eould like to book a tour or an activity. They have a quite huge network which is really useful! I would go there again for sure! Definitely worth it!

Our stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. it was amazing! we loved our fantastic villa with a beautiful interior, lots of space, en suite barhrooms and a wonderful patio. The pool was incredible with a spectacular view, we used the sauna and enjoyed the pool the whole afternoon. We have stayed in 6 different accomodations in Costa Rica and this was by far the best! we are travelling with children and it was very convenient that the food was served in our accomodation!

This property is absolutely stunning. The owners of the property are both so lovely and welcoming when you arrive. The rooms are huge, very very clean and beautifully decorated. The winner is the garden though, it is absolutely beautiful and such a nice place to relax and spot monkeys and other wildlife. It is about a 3.5km walk to the cloud forest and although it’s a bit out of Santa Elena there are nice restaurants and bakeries next door. There is also a big kitchen that is well stocked with cooking equipment etc. The hosts also provide you with a coffee maker in your room and coffee each day. It’s a really fantastic place to stay.

Really great authentic, high quality dinner and also breakfast; the rooms (bungalows) are much more beautiful than the pictures are showing - really nice rooms with everything you need. the surroundings are very quiet with a beautiful garden; the owners are more than friendly and helpful! Monteverde and Santa Elena is good reachable in a short drive. We would come to Rancho de Lelo again for sure!! Thank you for everything!

Perfect set up for 3 couples. We had the possibilty to cook basic food...but there are SO many excellent restaurants witin easy walking distance, being there on holiday there is no question as to what works best. But if needed there is a good supermarket, also within easy walking distance. We also followed advice from reception who organised a night walk for us. This is well worth it! We saw SO much and the guide was SO enthusistic. Cafe Ancestros coffee and night tour. I thoroughly recommend Los Pinos.

    The wooden cabin family accommodation was absolutely gorgeous and the secure grounds were well maintained and peaceful. We saw a lot of wildlife in the grounds. Stella's cafe was fabulous for breakfast and lunch and only a few minutes walk away. Cafe Monteverde, which was opposite Stella's, did fantastic coffee. We were met by Gabriel, Regina's son, who was welcoming and helpful with advice regarding day trips.

    Breakfast was great and you had options. The cook even got up early one morning so I could eat before my tour. All I had to do was ask and they helped me set up shuttles to my tours. At the last moment they even set me up with a night tour. The cabins were clean. The bed was comfortable. A bakery, connivence store and restaurants are within walking distance or a 2min. drive. There is also a spectacular view.
