Cabins in Siwa

The place is in a very calm and peaceful part of Siwa. There's a beautiful inner yard with a small pool and a campfire seating. It was really nice to sit around the fire in the evening and drink tea. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. There were warm and soft blankets for winter months. Breakfast was delicious and there was also possibility to order lunch and dinner. The owner is very kind and accommodating.

Ali is very kind, genuine, welcoming and calm man, with great energy. As soon as I arrived I felt at home. I was staying in a salt room and the energy was magical, cleansing and relaxing, amazing value to be staying In there. I also met friendly travellers in this place to explore Siwa with and enjoyed a filling breakfast in the morning. It’s peaceful and relaxing here and I’m so glad I followed my intuition to come here, it has enhanced my Siwa experience massively. I definitely recommend to stay here during your trip. The staff were welcoming like we were family and the location and quality of the room surpassed what we expected

I was originally supposed to only stay one night at Paloma Lodge from 6 Nov to 7 Nov, but because I enjoyed my stay here so much, I decided to extend for 4 more nights, only checking out on 10 Nov instead. Paloma Lodge is very well located, with only about 5 mins’ walk away from Siwan town centre where all the restaurants, cafés and shops are located. Apart from that, it’s only a stone’s throw away from a fresh water spring, where it’s perfect for an early morning or mid-afternoon swim. The host, Captain Nair, is super kind, warm and hospitable! He made me feel very welcomed and because I was a solo female traveller, he would check on me when I’m out later in the evening. In fact, he invited me to dinners at the lodge with lovely meals, either prepared by the good Captain himself, or his lovely housekeeper, Safie! The lodge is very tastefully decorated and kept very clean. The one-room apartment that I stayed in was very cosy and was sufficiently equipped with kitchen appliances, such as; electric kettle, toaster oven and a fridge. I will definitely stay at Paloma Lodge again, when I come back to Siwa!! It was a very enjoyable and cosy homestay which felt like you are with family. A home away from home.

Breakfast and dinner were always amazing. The location is well outside of the town but that meant it was so peaceful and relaxing compared to Cairo. Tea and a fire were a great way to relax after seeing all that Siwa has to offer.
