This site is so peaceful. The chalet was lovely & clean . We didnt cook food but the equipment was there if you chose to make your own meals.We totally relaxed. No noisy neighbours to keep you awake at night either. Everything we needed for a short break away. Local town of Dornoch is lovely with local shops, cafes & Dornoch cathedral . You think the cathedral is closed as the doors are shut but thats to preserve the building from the elements so remember to turn the handle. First day we thought it was closed which is why Im mentioning. Highly recommend "Greens" restaurant at The Old Court House. We ate lunch twice at Milk & Honey ....soup both times was yummy(think it was homemade). A visit to Dunrobin Castle is a "must" . Its approx 30min drive from Dornoch but well worth it. We loved the Falcon & Hawk show (outside on the grounds)after we visited the huge castle. The falconer was very knowledgeable about how these birds hunt.

The caravan is really a home from home the owners have thought of everything the double bed is bigger than most I have seen in other caravans they was so thoughtful and left us a welcome pack which even had something in for my fur baby

beautifully decorated, extremely functional, wonderful location, very nice owners, efficient check-in (remote). Price-wise - in this location - unbeatable. A brilliant place as a base for the NC500 tour. Additionally, there is a laundry on the premises and a 10-minute road to Tain (shops - Tesco, Lidl, Asda, etc.). If possible, I'll definitely come back! I recommend it - 11/10.

Even though the cabin is not that remote, it is still very isolated and utterly quiet. The view from the cabin, the birds and their sounds, the complete lack of other noises, makes this the most relaxing place we've ever stayed. In the cabin everything you need is available. The owners live 50m from the cabin, but full privacy is guaranteed.

It was a lovely ride up the hill and finding the beautiful lodge with such an amazing view. Inside it was more luxurious than we had expected from the Photos. Every little detail was thought through. Enough bins everywhere, birdfeeder on a clean and great outdoor balcony. Enough sockets also for our Dutch plugs etc. Great laundry room. Good shower and bathroom space. Great wifi! Lovely bedlinens. We felt so at home. It was a diffucult time for us in our lives so it was great to be able to land at this lovely and quiet place. Thank you to the hosts!
