Very comfortable pod in a brilliant location for visiting Westport. The kids loved the animals and the fresh eggs each morning were a treat. The indoor facilities had everything we needed and the private bathroom was great.

We loved the great communication. Quiet location, plentiful parking, complimentary milk and cereal, washing liquid and even netflix! Perfect for one rainy day. Donna and John F have really given some thought to making the Westport chalets as comfortable and welcoming as you could ever wish.

Wonderful from start to finish. Firstly a lovely warm welcome from Carol who had kindly supplied some lovely Christmas goodies and made the cottage warm and welcoming. The well appointed cottage was fabulous with glorious views over the water towards the mountains and a slipway only a few metres away from the kitchen window where it is possible to swim at high water providing you are suitably competent.

We had an amazing stay at the beautiful Hazel Hut. The location was magical, with Croagh Patrick in full view through the windows of the hut every morning. The sheep and donkeys really added to the country atmosphere too :) The hut itself is gorgeous and has everything you could need or want. We spent one of our evenings enjoying the landscape, drinking tea and reading some books left in the hut. It is only a twenty minute drive from Westport, so we also enjoyed heading into town for dinner. The next morning, we set off to climb the mountains. Would highly recommend it, and we are already looking forward to paying another visit soon. Thank you so much x

The house was absolutely spotless and modern, the host was great with communication and left us a lovely welcome basket on our arrival. The space is perfect for a large group of friends and it had everything we needed. We will 100% be booking again.

    The location was beautiful and the perfect place for me to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hut was cosy and well designed with everything that I could possibly need. Looking out of my window from my bed to see Croagh Patrick was a fantastic way to start the day. Finally, the donkeys were a wonderful addition. Friendly and inquisitive, they put a smile on my face as soon as I saw them.

    Fentastic Hosts and Martin was quite hospitable and was kind to take the kids for feeding the horses and taking the eggs from chicken. The chalet was cozy and clean and well maintained, quite serene views of nature from the chalet and quite accessible location from Westport. We would defintely go back in the coming years,

    We stayed in The Hazel Hut for a weekend hike to Croagh Patrick. The hut is approx. 12 min drive to Croagh Patrick car park. It is also located in a remote but wonderful and peaceful place in the fields with stunning views of the mountains, the fields with sheep and donkeys, and a nearby creek. The hut itself had the essential stuff we needed, and the wood burner stove kept the place warm on chilly evenings. Thank you Lisa & Chris.
