I had the pleasure of staying at this eco-lounge camp in Haputale, and though I wasn’t able to stay at the actual campsite, the host went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Right away, he proposed a cozy room alternative with the most breathtaking view – a truly beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The host’s kindness and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. He arranged all my tuk-tuk rides, making it easy to explore Haputale without any hassle. He also gave me fantastic recommendations for things to see and do in the area, helping me make the most of my time there. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how he checked in on me throughout the day, ensuring I felt safe and supported. His thoughtful care made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued, adding a personal touch to my stay that I’ll always remember. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views and a host who truly cares about your experience, I highly recommend this eco-lounge camp. Our family loved the homely vibe with clean rooms, bathroom and kitchenette. We were able to wash and dry our clothes, and do our own cooking for some meals. We also explored a nearby viewpoint/lookout and watched some movies that were on the TV provided. Definitely would stay again. Lal, the host, also provided us fruit and soft drinks, which was very kind.

It’s a new accommodation just 5 min outside Ella in nature. Which is good cause Ella was too busy for us. The room has its own balcony, there was some coffee and tea in the room and the shower was amazing. Lovely big bed, which was great as well as my husband is super tall. The man who checked us in and made us breakfast was an absolute champ, so friendly! The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka! Fresh roti! Thanks so much! We had a lovely stay!

This place is one of our favorites in Sri Lanka, with an amazing host, Teesha, who is incredibly kind and eager to provide guests with fantastic experiences. It's also great for animal lovers, thanks to the owner's friendly dogs. With just two rooms, we stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, a little slice of paradise. The room boasts a luxurious, spacious bathroom and breathtaking views, especially of the sunrise and sunset. Its location is excellent, just a short walk from Ella's main street. The breakfasts, enjoyed with a stunning view, were exceptionally good and the perfect way to start the day. Truly one of the best and most unique places to stay in Ella.
