Honestly, to say that I have had a fantastic experience during my stay at TreeHouse is like saying nothing. I don't even know where to start my feedback: 1 - TreeHouse - it is so cool, so unique, so beautiful. The location is just perfect, not so far from the sea, but still, a bit is hidden so you can have some relaxing time from noisy Shri Lanka. I saw so many beautiful birds, squirrels 2 – Food, it is the best breakfast I have ever had, food is amazing, too many options. And it served so beautifully! Moreover, I didn't expect this, but family made a surprise for me and cooked dinner due to NY celebration. Furthermore, you will try local food, the host will explain what it is 3 – Hospitality – host and his family are amazing, kind, and interesting people. They showed their garden (btw all the food you will have are organic and from their garden), showed how to work with cinnamon, and recommended so many things And last but not least, they made a present, something you are not expected at all, moreover they were so kind and checked how I got home from Shri Lanka. In conclusion, I do highly recommend this place, you will have an incredible experience😊

Best value for money so far in Sri Lanka. Great location by the river. We saw some tree snakes, peacocks and chipmunks. Nice balcony to chill on with breakfast. Air con was perfect and adjustable. Nice towels.

From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Wonderful place close to the beach, but still quiet and secluded. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

Very clean room in nice surroundings, with garden, outdoor furniture, outdoor shower to use after the beach. Access to kitchen, amazing breakfast and super super nice host helping with everything. A/C and fan working very well :) great place, close to many beaches that you can visit. We had a wonderful stay:)

The food was amazing and the service was exceptional, they were very helpful with arranging transport, activities and helping wherever we needed. The location was also perfect about a 5 min tuk tuk from the centre of Marissa which was perfect as it was far less chaotic in this location.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax.

Great breakfast and helpful hosts. One of the guys helped us reserve a whale-watching trip for a good price. Sunbeds are included in the price, which is cool. There's a good beach right near the property, suitable for swimming. The rooms are very basic and not new, but good-equipped. The table outside is great for reading and relaxing, especially if it's raining. The owner recommended a great place with Sri Lanka food. We also found a good souvenirs shop Sadaruwan

Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

The perfect place to spend your vacation! If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to go. You are given an entire bungalow with a separate kitchen and lounge area. You will be the only guest at Channe's and all the host's attention will be on you. Lovely non repetitive breakfasts that will be cooked for you by your host, we were delighted! Channe, very hospitable, will always offer tea or any other help. You can also hire a bike from him for a good price and get a shuttle to the airport. The bungalow was very clean and bug free. Great bed with a good mattress. Will greatly miss our conversations at breakfast) Will definitely come back here again!!!!
