We had an amazing stay at the Lodges near the Rhine. Pieter is the perfect host. He is kind, friendly, funny and has very good tips for restaurants and things to do in the region. The house is clean and beautiful, the garden is peaceful. The bed is very confortable. There is everything you need for a perfect stay. There’s fresh eggs, bikes, a great parking space. It’s nice to walk along the Rhine. It’s such a peaceful place. We enjoyed the chicken running around and the lambs playing around in the field next to the house. We are going to miss Ginger the super smart chicken and her chicken squad. Around the house, there are shops, restaurants, public transportation. If you need a peaceful holiday in an amazing country with the perfect host, it’s the place to be. Thank you Pieter for your warm welcome.

We had a wonderful and relaxing week taking day trips and exploring the local area. The location was perfect, Amsterdam, The Hague, Kasteel de Haar, Keukenhof and Rotterdam all within 45 minutes drive (some less than 30 minutes away). We had lovely walks, beautiful views and all the comforts of home. A lot of thought has gone into the renovation of the lodge and it is the thoughtful little touches that really stood out (fresh flowers, a basket of groceries to get us going). Thank you again for a fantastic week, we will be back again.

Perfect place to stay. Wonderful host. Great location for visiting the Netherlands. A large garden area, a great window view. The little extras such as a packet of biscuits, wine, beer, orange juice and fresh flowers just added to the overall great experience. Many lovely details like pictures, cactus-like lamp etc.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay in this lovely house. The location couldn’t have been better—just a 5-minute drive to the sea and 20–30 minutes to Rotterdam, Delft, and The Hague. The house had everything we needed, was warm and cozy, and made us feel right at home, even in winter. Claudia, the host, was incredibly welcoming, walked us through everything we needed to know, and left a thoughtful little surprise for us, which was such a nice touch. Even though the houses are quite close to one another, the property felt private and quiet, which made it easy to fully relax. Comfortable beds, reliable Wi-Fi, and complete peace and quiet—it was everything we could have hoped for. We’ll definitely be back!

A truly lovely and cozy holiday cottage – charming and spotlessly clean. We found it very convenient, with all the necessary amenities readily available. The exceptionally warm hospitality truly stood out – the complimentary wine, beer, juice, cookies, and water were such a lovely touch. Highly recommended; we will definitely be back!

Place in this house was really relaxing and quiet. There is everything what you need for few days. 10 minut with car from beach. You can cook if you need , bbq ... Very very nice place for holiday. One think i can change is pillows 🙂 they was not very comfortable but rest ...i have no one bad word about this. And sure we come back again.
