Stunning accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, an excellent guide, fascinating excursions, a scientific research centre which genuinely contributes to conserving the flora and fauna whilst helping the local community. Altogether the best experience we could have had in the Amazon. Not cheap but this was a once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny. Slept better here than ever before.

Very easy access and very friendly for early arrivals that you could checkin immediately and start your venture to the jungle as soon as possible. We had wonderful two days there that everything was beyond my expectations. The suite with balcony to river views were superb, very comfortable and I could stay there all day. The staffs there were friendly and welcoming. The inclusive activities were well organised and interesting! I would love to comeback.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

A real gem in the middle of the rainforest. Stunning nature all around, friendly and welcoming owner, comfortable cottages. We visited Peru when there were riots and roadblocks everywhere, but we felt very safe and protected in La Habana Amazon Reserve. The two dogs on the premises deserve extra praise: they are perfectly behaved and one of them always accompanied us when we went to the rainforest or the river - very safe. We definitely recommend having dinner there as well - the best food we ate during our three-week trip to Peru (Lomo saltado, Milanese chicken, etc.).

From the first night, we felt how Casa Amazonas is designed for rest and well-being. Sleep is deep and truly restorative. The rooms are thoughtfully created for total disconnection—no noise, no magnetic waves, just nature and a calming atmosphere. Everything has been carefully planned to make you feel good. We were warmly welcomed by Tom, who ensures every detail is perfect. The energy of this place is unique. You immediately feel at peace and connected to the essentials. The Yoga Sala is a beautiful space, perfect for meditation and morning yoga practice. The food is excellent—healthy and full of flavor. We originally booked for one night, but the experience was so wonderful that we decided to stay for another. Casa Amazonas is a must-visit. A timeless retreat that rejuvenates and transforms. Highly recommended.

About meals, in general was a good experience

Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured.

A unique and fabulous immersive experience of the rainforest. Erick our guide was excellent and enabled us to see the wildlife which we would have had no chance of even noticing without him. He made every whiter to pack in a range of enjoyable and fascinating activities.
