My wife and I have traveled to many places around the world, but our stay at Safaya was truly one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our experience special. The food was excellent, offering great variety and quality that kept us looking forward to each meal. The villa we stayed in was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed. The outdoor areas were equally stunning—the beach, flowers, and the private little pool made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Safety was never a concern; we felt secure throughout our entire stay. Any requests we had were handled quickly and efficiently by the staff. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious getaway.

Location is great. A 15 - 20 minute walk from the hotel to Nungwi beach but you can take a bike and get there in about 8 minutes approximately. A bit further from Kendwa Beach as you will need to take a taxi to get there. Best to go with a group or friend and split costs if on a budget. Ahmed is a nice guy. He is humble and the staff are similar in nature. As a solo traveller, I felt safe in general. A good bet if traveling to Nungwi in general.

Situated in Nungwi, near Nungwi Beach, Kibanda is a lodge boasting a garden. Private parking is available on site.

The property has a really nice pool with jacuzzi and a great restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they provide you everything. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean. You can also enjoy a massage (extra charge) which I definitely recommend. Also they have a brand new beach bar, right on the beach, it is amazing to spend time there sunbathing and enjoying the marvelous sunset. Amazing music with live dj!

Off the beaten track , just 15 minutes from Nungwi and Kendwa’s party scene, lies Sazani Beach Lodge situated above a secluded cove.

Unique authentic stay in a private house on the beach, with 5 rooms only, so feels verty private. Also clean beach away from the crowds. Excellent caring staff, great food cooked there on the spot. Highly recommended.

First and foremost, the location was simply breathtaking, and its just a short walk away from the beach. The room was perfect and spacious, with plenty of storage. The entire place was beautifully decorated. The staff deserves special recognition for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me warmly and went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
