The lodge is a little oasis of calm in a bustling town. The staff are friendly and attentive, the lodge is well laid out and tastefully appointed. There is a real sense of an attention to the small details. The room was clean, well decorated and functional. The food at the restaurant was also excellent. Could not recommend this place more if you’re exploring the region or climbing Kilimanjaro.

If you're looking for a special place to stay in Moshi, look no further than Nyota Safari Lodge — truly one of the best hostels in town! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The owner is just amazing — attentive, warm, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully maintained, giving a surprisingly luxurious feel for a hostel. I especially loved the authentic African dinners — so flavorful and delicious — and the breakfast was absolutely worth it, a perfect start to every day. The garden is just lovely — peaceful, green, and perfect for relaxing. And the sitting area is simply incredible — cozy, stylish, and a great place to unwind or chat with fellow travelers. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and would highly recommend Nyota Safari Lodge to anyone visiting Moshi. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Karanga River Lodge was really great! Spacious room with a nice bathroom and shower. The pool was really nice and every day the staff put out chairs for us by the pool so that we could sunbathe ☺️ Breakfast was soo good - especially the fruits and fresh juice 😌 We had dinner there every night and the food was always delicious. Thank you!

Peaceful oasis in the middle of Moshi, with great food and view on Mount Kilimanjaro. Spacious African rooms and nice swimming pool.
