Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

We only stayed for 1 night on our way into the park, but it was a great stay. The hosts were very nice and helpful and met us on arrival. There was a small kitchen and BBQ out back. We had 3 twin beds which worked well for us. The price was great for the quality of accommodation, would recommend!

Staying here was such a special experience. Everything went beyond our expectation. Both Janka and Peter are the best, it didn't feel like just being a guest, but being a part of a local family which makes me feel like home. They always ready to help with anything we needed in every situation. We gained so many valuable insights, they are true experts in the area and wildlife. I would like to also thank the ladies and other staffs for the delicious traditional food and the warmest care. Highly recommend for anyone who wants more than just accommodation, but a real connection and a stay that will be one of your best core memories. Will definitely return! They truly deserve more recognition for their hospitality.

We found a jewel in the Bush Camp Lapa! The accommodation is very comfortably furnished with a wonderful hot shower that offers a view of the bush. The kitchen is more than we expected, particularly well-equipped with a view of the waterhole. We enjoyed socializing around the campfire. The surprise was the alarm system (to warn us against roaming animals), which indeed works!

The owners and staff were friendly and Bjorn was super helpful with helping us problem solve when we had a issue with our car. They were focused on making sure that we had a great time and it felt like a luxury trip with an affordable price. Bjorn took us out twice on game drives and we got to see zebras, lions, giraffes, elephants and more. The food was phenomenal. We are vegetarians. We also enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching giraffes from the property.
