The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Only reachable by cable car, Lodge am Krippenstein is located on the Krippenstein Mountain, at 2,063 metres above sea level and just a 2-minute walk from the mountain station of the Dachstein-Krippenstein Cable Car. Absolutely amazing place, window view in the room was astonishing, and you can enjoy the whole mountain view by yourself before and after the business hour of the cable car.
