We were originally supposed to stay somewhere else, but at the last minute the original landlord cancelled our rental. We found this place on the way as part of our trip and on the day of arrival. Excellent arrangement, handover of keys. We also went to see the original building and we have to commend someone up there who likes us for "offering" us Le Chalet d'Alice. We really liked it there, we were satisfied with everything. As part of the accommodation, we received a train pass for the duration of our stay, so we were close to everything. We fondly remember.

Very spacious for the family of 4 that we were: there are 3 levels, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This place is what often called -rustic (= old but with charm and in a good shape). The balcony is really nice, views of the alps, quiet and peaceful.

What exceptionally accommodating hosts - above and beyond expectations. Our stay was made much easier thanks to their help and responsiveness. It was not easy getting around at first because we were unfamiliar with the buses and taxis (and it's the mountains after all), but everything went super smoothly because we could count on their support in time of crisis not only on the first day but throughout our stay. We are very grateful! <3 Needless to mention that the place is incredible, just like the pictures. Very clean, very cozy. Especially suitable for a big group of skiers who want to enjoy a night-in with some board-games. :) The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner on some days and nights (and then just pull everything in the dishwasher XP). The new Valleen lift is reachable by the Y85, which is 10 min (uphill) walk from the house (be sure to consult with the bus timetable, a ticket is 1.60 euro). Most days we prefered to call an uber in the morning (20-25euro per car) and come back by bus, but if you rent a car it could be better for you. The parking at the lift is free. For us, we were 7 people coming from different places outside France, so we decided to travel by train and use public transport and it worked well mostly. The lift, which is right at the train station, takes you from Passy to Saint-Gervais and then you immediately take the next lift to the slopes. The ride takes about 15 min in total. Overall amazing experience! PS: A tip for future skiers non related to the booking - when you buy your ski pass in advance, make sure you are buying it from the Saint-Gervais website because it is related to the location of the pick-up of the ski pass. We'd bought it from the Megeve website and we had to call customer support to deal with that.
