Very private place so you have total privacy there. Had 2 donkeys outside the windows so that was a fun attraction. Interior was super classy and lovely to look at. This little cabin near the shore of the lough was very private and relaxing. The scenery from all windows of the cabin as well as from the attached deck was unsurpassed. My stay here felt like a vacation within my vacation. One rainy day I stayed inside reading, drinking tea, and watching the light and weather change — it was one of the most memorable days of my trip! I also loved the cows, who showed up each evening around sunset to say hello, as well as the fox who would trot by occasionally and the birds. The host was very helpful, checking in each day by text to see if I needed anything.

One of the best place we have stayed in recent times. The cottage is really beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. We really loved this place so much that we are already planning to stay here for weeks or month next time.. This place has almost eveything you need for a long stay. We highly recommend cedarwood Lodge.
